How it Works
Cryotherapy works by vasoconstricting the blood vessels in the hair follicles, pushing the inflammation out. The burning and itching associated with the onset of alopecia may immediately subside; overtime, with consistent cryotherapy treatment, hair regrowth should occur. Cryotherapy treatment can also stop hair loss—so if a person with a history of alopecia feels the onset of symptoms, utilizing cryotherapy may actually prevent hair loss from occurring.
